No shit. Especially after the one right before these.

The new vette>>>> any other vette ever produced

          It's still no 911 though ;)

Its very impressive. Obviously if I had the means I would be in the F430 but for your average sucessful Joe this will be a hot item.
              Im now E30less.

Who cares about 0-60? Buy an Evo 8, put 265 R-compounds on all around and run 30psi through a bigger turbo and make sure you have the toughest clutch available. Won't cost you $63K.

The 1/4 time is impressive though. That's more useful for judging it's acceleration. And I think the GM quoted top speed is conservative. I would like to see someone take this new Z06 to 200mph. Too bad GM doesn't care about transmission ratios. This thing would be even faster with the right gears.

eh, to be honest I would still take a 911 over it, i'm just not drawn to corvette's at all.

What was the 1/4 mile time? I didn't read the whole article.

Yes... but this is stock. ;) And if you're the business type man, you can arrive at work in it without any weird looks.

                        11.7 @ 125mph

But that was just C&D. There seems to be a considerable difference in acceleration figures between the magazines. Oh well who cares about magazine racing.

The scary thing is that motor is tuned so conservatively stock. Add some bolt-ons and some heads/cam work and its gonna be downright brutal.

The Stingray is still the best looking 'vette in my book.

However, I'm going to have to give this one some props. That's a serious machine.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.
