Who cares about 0-60? Buy an Evo 8, put 265 R-compounds on all around and run 30psi through a bigger turbo and make sure you have the toughest clutch available. Won't cost you $63K.
The 1/4 time is impressive though. That's more useful for judging it's acceleration. And I think the GM quoted top speed is conservative. I would like to see someone take this new Z06 to 200mph. Too bad GM doesn't care about transmission ratios. This thing would be even faster with the right gears.Comment

eh, to be honest I would still take a 911 over it, i'm just not drawn to corvette's at all.Originally posted by boom-monkeyYour right, it's way better. It's still no 911 though Wink

Yes... but this is stock. ;) And if you're the business type man, you can arrive at work in it without any weird looks.Originally posted by JarvisWho cares about 0-60? But that was just C&D. There seems to be a considerable difference in acceleration figures between the magazines. Oh well who cares about magazine racing.Comment

The scary thing is that motor is tuned so conservatively stock. Add some bolt-ons and some heads/cam work and its gonna be downright brutal.
