        And much appreciation, also, for those who engineered the thing. It's a pleasure to work on, most of the time.

        Sure, by 1990, getting the timing belt off's a bit of work, but even so, most things are
        robust, simple, and work. And you can take them apart and put them back together.

        Distinctly UNLIKE the E36, where things fall off on their own, but putting them back on
        involves glue, tape, removing the intake manifold, and ungluing and regluing the back window.
        Sure, there are relays in the a- pillar, but unlike the E36, you can remove and replace
        the cover without breaking off all the little tabs and then having to replace the whole panel.

        There is one wiring system- it works for almost all variants of the car. And it makes sense.

        I think they did a very elegant job implementing the car, all things considered.
