              did anyone mention anything about the tranny by chance? im planning on doing a m52 swap into my e30, wondering if i can use my manual transmission on the m52 motor??

                        It's easier to bolt the e36 body + motor/trans. on the e30 chassis, that way you get the more preferable swag and styling of the 90's while maintaining the handling and feel of your e30.

                        Someone sold conversion kits for this, might be a member on here.

                          E36 to E30 Interchangeability?

                          No, I heard the front valence from the e36 is direct bolt on; no mods needed. Bolts right over the ugly e30 valence and sits completely flush; you even get the sick 90's rectangular headlights

                          I remember a member selling door conversions and rear quarter conversion kits aswell; AFAIK, the fenders are the same between the models

                            The only way is a rear mounted tranny using a Porsche/Subaru casing snout and custom axles using hybrid e36 and Cheverolet Baretta parts. User "Vlad" on here used to make the axles, I'd try PM'ing him.

                              I swapped the hood from a E36 onto my E30. Not sure why the hood on my E30 opened backwards, those germans are always playing pranks.
