Ah... R3V. Come for the tech advice, stay for the abuse - sometimes all in one thread.

Ah, another veritable goldmine of parts. They're getting harder to find, though, around here....

...and using that E36 rear glass saved me a few bucks, too...

well since almost all e36 parts fit e30....
                        would a e93 hardtop fit ?
i bet an e36 would work but i like the hardtop that retraces in sections an tucks away.
if it doesnt fit perfect i bet someone makes a conversion kit like special weatherstripping or latches.
                        anyone got a link.
also-when i do the conversion, will the vert non-power vert box work or do i need a new one?
                        thanks

e36 lug bolt swap is a must. the hallowed out heads make them super light and are ideal for racing.

e36 center console allowing for drinks and movable pieces is ideal for a modern e30.

& of course the e36 rear valance swap for all us early e30's that seem to have a mustache problem with our cowcatchers.

it's one of those things that you just keep coming back to, I guess...

Just swapped my E36 trunklid onto the Pro3 car. Saved 9 lbs. But it only works for sedans...

Don't forget the e36 m3 spoiler, can't believe this hasn't been mentioned. It bolts right on in the 'is' lip holes and adds tons of downforce for improved handling at highway speeds.

Also, the e36 window regulators are a direct fit and are known to be bulletproof.

From what I remember, the e36 m3 traction control can be retrofitted to the e30, there was a writeup on that somewhere and it's a must for autocross.
