It was actually the old slalom course which they stupidly put between the k-rails. Needless to say the Subaru driver fucked up since he tapped on his breaks and spun out.

Here's the video that shows the fail driver:

I don't hate a nicely done STi, though they're few and far between. I'm really tired of the pastel wheels/sticker bomb scene, and unfortunately Subaru seems to be at the heart of it. Wow you have an Impreza with orange wheels and hater stickers all over the windshield, that's really neat!!!

      Edit: Thanks google images

Sums it up perfectly. I'd say a modded one is probably even more than decent to drive.

i guess i know what you guys are talking about, but aren't you supposed to look at the car and not the fans of the car?

a lot of bmw drivers are yuppie waffleswaffleswaffleswaffless that buy the car to flaunt status...even if they can't really afford it.
based on that rationale, i would never have gotten a bmw.

that being said, i don't know enough about the engine to say anything to naysayers...i just thought it would be a good mix of fun and functional in a family car

Exactly-- drive mine. People who hate on modded subarus haven't driven a nice one.

There's a thread on mine floating around this board somewhere. Manwagon ftw!

Read up on the new BRZ engine- 2L, 200hp NA, 7400rpm stock redline, flat torque band. Pretty impressive IMO for a company that doesn't do NA.

If they haven't figured out how to keep a head gasket from leaking then they have failed completely so we get to watch and wait.

hasn't the HG issue been solved? our '03 is the original 2.5 with the original headgasket and 150k+ miles. I thought that was only a couple years that had the problem?

I've always had a soft spot for Subarus. I wouldn't mind owning one some day.

OT: So much hate for people who wear flat billed hats, have piercings, tattoos, and wear black. :(

I guess I'm the exception to the rule though. I may be a troll sometimes, but I am definitely not a douchebag. My ears are stretched, but not excessively. I've also been dressing like this before every asshat and their bros started to. Well, mostly anyway.

yeah, a 5-speed legacy wagon is just enough fun to not want you to stab your eyes out driving it, but still utilitarian for the family.

+1, the subie crowd seems to be getting infected by the riced/stanced crowd. Those who mod theirs to be functionally fun are definitely worth owning.

That may be the only non-supercar car that I'm truly excited to see in person.
