So after 3 months of searching for a 325I I finally purchased my first e30 325i. I was completely stoked to finally have one and the project plans startin rolling through my head. As a week or two went by I started to look for the door cards to find the weight of the car. When I looked closer I saw 325E!!!!!! Upon more research I found to my dismay that the previous owner "lied" or didn't know that it was in fact a 325e. Shame on me should have researched more and found out sooner the obvious differences between the two. Oh well have to change some plans. Any recommendations?

if its not an 88, then you just have a normal eta motor. you can go m20b25, 2.7i, m50 or s5x, or turbo it... you have options, who says you have to stick with what you have?
OP, you fail at cars. You have done a bunch of research but didn't notice a 4500/5000rpm redline?paint sucks

well it is an 88 "super" eta. Whatever that means. I've tried researching that but all I get is the "my 'super' 1988 e30 build"...don't care. Pics are on a previous thread titled "finally an e30 owner". And no I didn't really think of the tachometer only going to 6k cause I was too fucking excited cause I finally found an e30 in my area, and at the time I didn't know the redline differences, yes, huge fail on my part.Originally posted by Wh33lhopThis is r3v. Well lucky for you, it's an 88, so all you have to do is drop an i head on it and then it will be a 325i.1985 M10b18. 70maybewhpoffury. Over engineered S50b30 murica BBQ swap in progress.
