I usually don't like full M tech kit cars, never really have. There are some that I do however, not sure what it is about certain ones.
That said, i do really want a Tech II front valence to pair with a stock bumper with euro trim and iS skirts on my touring. For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!Originally posted by mbonanniI hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.
I am a pursit now.

Youre not crazy.. Im not a fan either. Mainly because it takes the 80's euro look away from the body by taking the black stripe away. (like early and late e39's)
But I realize why its appealing to alot of people.. It simply makes the car look more modern.-Jay

*engage old fuck mode, but
Damn, back in the day, like the only thing everyone seemed to want was a full TechII kit, and chrome bumpers went virtually unloved. Fastforward to now, and the dick rides all over TechI, and there is a whole thread devoted to hating TechII.
Personally, i think anyone that likes diving boards, tucked or un-tucked needs to have their head read. They look like an e30 successfully mated with a fucking bumper car, during a drunken shag in the back loo of a dodgy pub.
Go figure :loco:sigpicM42 Brigade ... Throwing craze in the 318

I have a white MT2 convertible. I'm not that positive on the look overall, however it does eliminate the nasty rubber strips on the doors. I'm seriously thinking about selling the MT2 stuff if I can get any serious money out of it and putting on regular plastic bumpers. Or maybe parting out the whole car and getting something reliable.

I think I know what's going on here...from what I've been reading it seems people are more in love with the fact that the regular E30 bumpers have black trim for contrast. I've noticed this change in the scene over the last 5 years or so. Same reason people are buying euro plate fillers and installing black spoilers for that "super stock" euro look. It's funny because it used to be the other way around where people would paint everything body color. For instance I don't like M3's with shaved bumpers. Without that little detail I think it looks too much like an aftermarket bumper kit. I prefer it with the indentation and black tape inside. So I can see where you guys are coming from but at least the M Tech 2 has an indentation on the bumpers/side pods that flow around the car and isn't completely flushed."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
