My wife called me in a panic and thought she saw my old 325es on the road today.Last I saw it after I traded it in was in 1993.
When she called I really hoped that it was but no luck!:-(

why dont you have the dude on the forums that can check vins, check out your old vin? assuming you still have the number somewhere.

No I dont have it. I think what I did was when I traded it in at the dealership in 93 for a new car I gave all the paper work and records kept with it.
Amazing that I dont have one piece of paper at my parents house with the vin on it. Lol! I even have a speeding ticket still with no vin written on it anywhere.
I've had police friends run the plates(few times),I called the dealer I bought it from(few times),called our old insurance and even called old mechanics that worked on it and got nada every time.
One thing I do know was the plates read SHANT

In '89 my cousin had a MR2 with the flat Centra's. Heavy, IIRC.

My other friend in high school had an MR2 all dome up in red. Momo everything! It was SO 80's looking. When I bump into him I will ask for a picture.

Wow. That gives me flashbacks of the nicest cars in my town back in the 80s. There were two BMW's in town, and they were both kitted-out 3s.
