Just sign up on uship.com. Shipping is usually pretty cheap and would probably be around the same as it would cost in gas. AND someone tows it right. Why risk wrecking both wen for the same price you could ship it?

That's actually not a half bad idea, if you are willing to be like some of those crazy enthusiasts out there who swap engines at 3am.

I towed my 65 chevy II (on a uhaul tow dolly) with my 82 volvo 240dl many times. And this was up and down significant hills. No it wasn't good for the car but whatever.

I think if you use a tow bar and don't take it about 55mph you should be fine.
Don't try to use a trailer or a dolly. GO to harbor freight or craigslist and get a $45 tow bar

If you decide to tow with the 240 then I see this in your future:

I still don't know how y'all think it is fine to tow a car with another car. Cars are designed to tow small things such as tire trailers and the likes.

                              A worthwhile sacrifice.

Seriously though, I saw a guy tow a Jetta to the shop today with a WRX. Didn't look like he was doing either car any favours.

better off selling it and buying one back home saving gas, time, effort, importing BS, and trying to park a non-op in So Cal.

and given that it's not running for one reason or another for however long it might just wind up sitting up over here while life takes over
