Who the fuck takes a suburban over a fucking STI? you would have to literally be the most homosexual person on the face of this planet to do something like that.
Someone is gay because they prefer a Suburban over a sports car? Not everyone is into cars.
Do us all a favor, and next time you have a thought, let it go.
yeah, I agree with you saying that it's about the maturity level and not just age. I'm somewhat embarassed to say how old I am...just turning 16....but I've been driving about a year and driving for longer and I've never had any problems. I also think it's about how skilled of a driver you are...and I don't think age is all that matters when it comes to that. Although, most of the people my age are terrible drivers. I have lots of driving experience though.
Right, not all teenage drivers are morons. I'm 18 and I pay/have paid for everything car-related myself. I love my slow ass car to death as it is; plus, I thought it would be good to "work my way up" in terms of how fast and expensive my car is. (That, and I couldn't afford much more. ;) ) I like the idea of being able to look forward to upgrading.
This kinda reminds me of the 17 year old who purposefully crashed his E46 M3 to get insurance money to go towards a Bentley...ungrateful bastard. (CNN link expired, too bad.)
The driver of the E36 posting on vortex sounds like a complete idiot: "It was no more than 80 it was a spin, i accualy picked up momentum, i needed to slow down, i am, im dun with speed. Im glad i found this out without a freind in the car." He has the reasoning and grammar abilities of a third grader. This pisses me off.
Like all of you have already stated, there is a time for speeding and a time to know when your going to fast. But i agree that he was going faster then 80, 560 feet of skidding on dry pavement? thats a long distance for 80 mph in my opinion, none the less no opne herre has proof so i spose theres not much to say.
