While you're in there, you might as well put in a DIY fishtank heater box. Bitches love fish tanks.

$100 bux. It takes one day if you've never done it and take your time. Few hours if you got skillz.

this really is not that hard, actually very simple. (but then again, i have taken mine out about 4 times now)

i guess it all depends on the person
-FREEDOM- is cruisin at 80, windows down and listening to the perfect song-thinking "this is it"

I made the mistake of having a friend help me... Unfortunately he lost interest in the first few hours and is no longer interested helping me put it all back together. Meh... It's going to be a long and tedious Saturday of reassembly.

yeah, it sucks when friends suddenly dont want to help anymore.

but i still dont see you asking for help from any of the local e30 crew.

                      im located in dc. fyi.

I didn't find it all that hard...took me 2 hours out with the old and in with the new. I found a DIY that made it pretty easy.

That's way easy. Much easier than the dash in the 2k Dakota I used to have.

I've been around awhile and keep seeing this fish tank thing pop up but I have no idea what it means. Link?

hahah, this teen (jafxord, banned and now back under a new username. cant recall offhand.) decided he wanted to build a race car and apparently he didnt have a working hvac unit. instead of going to the junkyard and buying one he decided he would build a hvac unit using some piping, an oil cooler, acrylic paneling forming a box, and some 80mm pc fans. something along those lines. we all laughed at his creativity. :)

everyone said it looked like a fishtank and thus the fishtank heaterbox mod was created.
