How can you describe my mechanical skills just by reading a forum post?

You people dont seem to understand beach driving. In places like Florida you can drive pretty much anything on the sand. on the beaches of long island, the sand is very soft and there are inclines going up the dunes you need to either have good momentum or nice large tires on a lifted truck to cruise on and off without problems

BMW e30 Ix? no way that thing wouldnt get stuck

oh im sorry, i thought you had asked for an easy solution like a 3" lift and oversized tires on ix.

i totally forgot you want to really make a lot of work for yourself and weld a vw rabbit to a jeep frame.

                my b dawg.

If you want real information on doing that, go here:

Welcome to the home of Grassroots Motorsports, the hardcore sports car magazine—and your home for car reviews, tips, and road racing news.

Lots of people doing cool and unusual things. First thing you're going to need to do is measure the wheelbase of both cars, that should give you an idea of how much chopping you're going to have to do.

That's a killer IX pic btw!

The Rabbit and the Jeep have almost identical wheelbases.

a few people have done this before but I cant find any build pics online

Because people who undertake these kind of projects don't come to forums to ask questions.
