would be a lot easier to just lift the rabbit and enjoy it as is. i actually have a rabbit that was lifted. im currently building it into a trac kracer so the lift suspension setup is off the car and is for sale. (the lift consists of parts from various cars like a passat, a 5 series, a mk3, etc)

heres how it looked in its prime, lol

Why not? researching the job is the first step in even deciding if someone wants to go about it. I went on here to see how many parts are needed/how much work is required/etc.. to do a 5 lug swap, then I did it.

I really just wanted to see if anyone had a link to build pics so I could go the easy route and copy what someone else did and not have to scratch my head searching for parts that fit.. etc.. Ill admit that. thats what forums are for.

But not BMW E30 forums. There are Volkswagen dedicated online communities aplenty.

Like the Subaru Outback and Audi Allroad, Volkswagen's Golf Country is a car-based soft-roader. However, unlike those other two, the Vee Dub never officially softened any roads in the U.S.. Today's Nice Price or Crack Pipe illegal alien '91 Country has a secret that could keep it from being off-road only, but is its price also off the hook?

Ok nevermind guys. Everyone seems to be posting links to AWD golfs built by VW. Im talking about a hillbilly conversion using a jeep chassis. The jeep I wanted to buy is too much money and I cant get the guy to drop his price, so this project will have to stay in the back of my head for now

Wrong forum anyways. U need a jeep off road muffin forum. Guys who do that stuff all the time. Not that a person can't know about and do more then one type of building/ Motorsport activity. But BMW not = jeep hilly billy stuff. Unless its me:) I had a lifted XJ and a E30 and a cummins dodge all at once. Try a different forum. I'm sure it's been done.
