buy new e30 or work on mine

so guys i have an 88is thats runs really well... it starts great just needs little things here and there... and full paint and to get the seats redone (they aren't that bad at all but i want a nice interior)... but i got a decent tax return... should i just get all the little things done to mine? or get a new one with paint already done and interior done?

    highlights-
    have e30?
work on it or get new one with already nice paint and interior and sell mine?

ill have about 3k-4k to spend or if i keep mine i would spend about 1500 on mine.... so im just torn because i have seen some really nice ones going on cl lately. anyone have any input?

yea but paint isnt cheap and neither is interior... i have pretty low mileage and all electrical works besides windshield wipers and my driver side window switch is twitchy and sometimes you have to play with it. aside from that everything works the way it should and has been fine... been driving around from sb to hollywood and everwhere b/w

OP I totally agree. Esp. when you consider the inflated prices most owners ask for their cars...they usually have to become reasonable and realize that they cannot ask the astronomical prices most want for them (close to 10g's for stock-ish).

If they are serious about selling, you'll always find a great deal!!!

EDIT: I'd increase my budget a bit if you're serious about buying one in the cond. you want.

I've been through the same question with my IX. I've decided to fix it and even though its turned out to be 10x more work I'm still happy with me decision
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
