        I suppose if they call a CLK GTR a road-going car then that could be too (bumper issues aside). However, i don't know if it could be considered for a manufacturer's cup in touring car races, which is the thing that E30s are known for. Plus an engine is usually considered "core technology"- stuff the company wouldn't outsource the design and production of. so i think there's still room for an all-engine, all-(or mostly)-BMW ultimate e30.

        That said, let it be said that this is the ultimate GM-swapped E30. I don't care how many liters or torques your LS# has.

            The Edlinger E30 is far from ever being a road car. Bumpers would be the least of concerns.
