Also check the wells on each side behind the wheel wells. There are drains that must be open to let out any condensation. My trunk lid gasket was leaking underneath and I removed it, cleaned out the old sealant and put new sealant in there and no more water in the trunk.

yes you need to take the toolkit out to access how the 3rd light is attached.
Definitely.
you can put duct tape around the whole seal and odds are you will fix it. yes. You will see where it leaks in and you could try to silicone it.
People with average IQ shouldnt have a problem fixing it, and they do sell replacement seals... which as noted dont fix the problem. its a peice of plastic held in with rubber grommetsLast edited by stamar; 03-26-2012, 02:46 AM.
