                      wrap chains around the bottom of the core support. put chains around tree. back up slowly with a spotter.

                      this is honestly your simplest, easiest, best shot. if it works, great. if it doesnt, then all you did was further mangle a piece you'd have to cut out.

                            This is what I was thinking....anyone else condone this activity? I was thinking a comealong and a tree with somebody standing on the brakes.
