Socal, Seattle, NYC, Atlanta, and the Baltimore-DC area. Seems like they have the highest concentrations from meets and such.
You might say of corse they do, it's obviously just because of the higher population in those areas, but I don't think that's true. Lots of other metropolitan areas don't have as big of an e30 scene like Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Miami, Detroit...
The e30 scene here in Chicago is actually pretty decent. When I first got mine, I never saw any, but eventually it started to grow. Now there are quite a few of us here.
i saw 9 e30s today in NorCal. but what is weird is that our meets are terrible up here. like there are so many e30s that if i dont see another one in my 4 mile commute i'm a tad shocked.
Shitload are driving up here but as far as I have seen, I rarely see a nice pristine e30 driving around owned by an enthusiast, it's usually a raggidy ole hunk with sheepskin seat covers and missing trim driven by an old lady or man or a woman who hates her life.
I see so few e30's that I generally know who the people are when I see them. I'll go days without seeing a single one
This, except I usually go for weeks without seeing another one. TurboJake's was the 4th different E30 I have seen up here in the last 6 months, including my own.
