Is it not true? They're as simple as old Honda's, they're reliable like old Honda's, they offer small displacement 4 cylinders that are high-revving and peaky in their power band, and some of them are pretty damn fuel efficient (M42 especially).

i remember someone at my dealership bagging all day about my bimmer one day(back when i had the m50 vert), so i offered to take us out for lunch, i peeled out of the parking lot, kicked it sideways all into .3rd and had him screaming till i straightened 'er out.

It is funny how people talk shit until they get to ride in an E30. I think most people are ignorant and just see it as an old car.
