i put my rear seat back on a hinge, and also fitted a thin peice of plexi on the back, this works so well, that i can put a peice of notebook paper (or small reciept from a gas station) on my dashboard, and it will stay put, up to 40mph..and it stays quite comfortable at all speeds...keeping the heated air closer, and the girls hair in place...
and it doesn't need to be higher then the headrests...imo the oem windscreen looks like a huge fly-swatter.
mine is sleek, and can be stored in the trunk against the rear lights, and barely noticable...also can be left in place with the top up too.
this looks like ingenuity in its purest from. thank you for sharing this with us. the seat back thing is pretty much genius. i think the plexi is good too. i bet we can do a little work on that to make it look almost factory. i was thinking that the plexi could be hinged on the bottom of the seat to fold behind it when stowed. will the front seats slide all the way back with this installed? i am about 6' tall.
