Why do Hondas want to race?

ive had 3 integras with mexican kids in them try to race me, beat the first one twice, and i was alone he had 2 buddies, which is why he lost. "too many heads" the other i missed second and still pulled on him and the other sounded like a two stroke and he pulled out of the drive through and looked at me and hit his rev limiter in 1st. but not that i hate all hondas. my buddy in school had a fully built honda that beat all kinds of evos and fun stuff. but yes hondas always try to race

its funny cause here i get all the riced out hondas that always talk about how there cars soooooo fast but everytime try to take them they always back down. or on the rare instance ill smoke them off the line and leave them far behind

I don't waste my time on them. I know I have a classic BMW and it will outperform, outlast, and certainly outrank any Civic that is ever produced. Period.

The E30 is revolutionary to this day and I see magazines STILL using it as a comparison to even the brand new 3 series. How often does Honda do that? FUCKING NEVER.

I have a bone stock 91' 318i as well, but with coilovers, some old retro wheels, and euro bits, nothing really that stands out if you do a quick glance. Ricer Hondas seem to want to mess with me. I usually just flip them off and change lanes. Even if I were to race them I doubt I would win. I have to down shift to 4th if the AC is on going up a hill on the highway. lol

Add to this the fact that I'm a 51 year old man - I don't look
like the kind of person who has to prove himself all the time.

Besides, how much skill does it take to out accelerate someone
else driving on the freeway? Let's see, pull next to him, mash the gas,
stay in the lane. Really tricky there. Oh, I left out the part about spending
$18,000 on mods like a CF hood and 12" subwoofers. That takes years
of practice.

If you want to challenge me, at least do it on a winding road.

If you want me to race you, invite me to your car club's autocross
or rallycross.

Sure, I love doing donuts in a vacant field as much as anyone, but
if I want to know where my skills stack up against other drivers,
I'll do it at a real race - or other event (like drift or TSD)

One of the best posts I've ever read on here, I agree with everything said. If there were more people who thought like this, the motoring community would be a much better place.

Had one get all mad when I took an interchange rap at 110 in the e46. He came flying up to me when I dropped to the 70mph speed limit. I dropped a thumbs down out the window as he drew up beside me and he swerved as if to run me off the road. Woulda hit me but I merged onto my exit ramp. I watched as he spun around twice in the middle of I64 East and landed ass first into the median bank, ripping the shit out of the rear of his little bubble turd. I threw a friendly wave out the window and proceeded home. Fuckers.

I love revving up at intersections, back at them of course, then just sitting there when the light turns. They take off like a bat outta hell and look like an ass. Sometimes they'll get stopped if a cop happens to be sitting nearby. Makes for more LOLZ. Fuckers.

I don't know, I never get "hondas" trying to race me. The only people that drive riced out hondas around here are high school kids, and I assume in a town this small they're too afraid to get in shit with the law to try to street race their 90hp monsters.
