That said, I bought the Makita as I already have bought into the batteries with other tools. If I didn't have Makita batteries/chargers I would have gone with the snap ring Bosch due to the modulation and weight.

The main impact used would be a 3/8 impact and will not remove lugs for the most part. However, the 3/8ths are most used for auto and home applications.
