    s52 for you.

i dont think its a bad thing. i dont have time for turbo build, hence why im s52 and like the reliability to boot..
I have buddies that can help, but yes I don't have experience myself.

Maybe first one to 50 with e30tech combined wins?

        It's not. (I believe)
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I fucking love my M3/4/5 but it's no E30. It can never replace the way my E30 feels and the love I have for it.

ive never seen the full potential ona turbo m20.. but i ridden around in some s50/s52 cars..

            the swaps arent insane..

and on paper the boost is far more power, and cheaper...

Cheaper unless you buy a built engine like I did probably.

How do you get away with it in CA?
                      Just be careful?

                        I see your problem... Move.

But seriously, my saying is to go with whatever has the most potential (broke my own rule a couple times, got stuck at the limit of the engine), for example, (most of the time) S5x's can make more power under boost than m20. So if your the type to keep a car for a long time, S52 swap it and have fun, then down the road when you have more money... turbo that, and have more fun. If you dont see yourself in the same car 3-5 years later, turbo the m20 for the most amount of fun and crazyness as soon as possible.

Do you shit your pants every time you see a cop or get pulled over? For me personally, I'm not sure if a turbo car would be worth the stress of it all. I'd just wonder/worry every day if I'm going to get a ref ticket.

I've been pulled over a few times (for tint, tail lights, etc) and never once have they asked anything about the car. I've got 2 gauges in my center AC vents and a roll bar too.
