You're not going for Schwarz? Ever thought of filling up the rear w/ a Racing Dynamics apron like Ryan's?

          Don't want an aftermarket/tuner kit.

I'm very OEM oriented and want to use only factory appearence parts..

Minus rims as the alpina replica's just "work"

Have you SEEN the tech I rear? It's only one of the most beautifully sculpted rear valences in all of automotivedom (slight exaggeration, but it DOES work!).

I agree, the Kopis just "work" and look ever so hawt on teh tech I kits.

So is it bad that I already removed the brake lines?

(before james gets angry and decides to ban me from the forum and my car from the road)
James' car is only fine now that he has rid it of that sorry engine . . .;)

This'll look sweet - keep us updated with progress shots of it.

                  White M-Tech1 - yummy . . . .

yeah...... wtf!?!? Sorry engine? Mine 211K old and doesnt burn a bit of oil, and Ive treated it like shit for the longest time before I knew how to drive well and its still putting along with only 1 head job and that was 100K ago. Ask some of the local E30 guys that have been around my eta whilst driving spiritedly. I can understand its not anywhere near a performance engine but it makes due very well and serves its purpose that it was made for better than ever. :)

The Auto to Manual swap is what killed it.. With the automatic the engine was NEVER above 3200RPM, after the swap I drove the piss out of it all the way to redline (well 4500 at least to get around the valve float issue)

So that, coupled with the semi high miles at 188K when I did the swap (around there) it finally started developing some botton end rod knock...when that started I began looking for the M20B25 :)

I see, James. Much respect. Early models w/euro bumps are the best.
