We'll we brought a trailer and checked it out today and my friend ended buying it.

We checked in to the mileage and it seems to have around 130,000 on it instead of 72,000 like we hoped. The rust is pretty bad around the windshield and definitely needs a new piece welded in, but other than that and the sunroof, it's pretty rust free.

Not sure what he's going to with it yet, but we figured it's more than worth it in parts alone.

The rust around the scuttle area, by the wiper is bad, BUT, good news is you can still buy that panel from the dealers, not that expensive, and have it stamped with the VIN number too.
The VIN on the M3's is stamped differently to normal E30's.
