ok so I got my first batch of carbon fiber radiator covers made and I'm shipping one out today. I've wetsanded them down w/ 1000grit and then polished and waxed them. If they are still not shiny enough you an use some lacquer clear coat or just use armor all before a car show. I feel that its shiny and smooth enough but I cant speak for others.Leave a comment:

Finished my first one and already sold it:)
hardware-NOTE-my e30 already had holes for the bolts to fit into on the OEM radiator mount, the just need to be enlarged really quick with a drill bit takes about 15minutes for complete install. other models may be solid and need a new holes drilled. if you look at your radiator mount you'll see how easy the install it.

and final version

A hardtop for the convertible. Big piece, so it's difficult to make, but I guarantee you'll get some orders :)Leave a comment:

don't see why I cant make it functional, its all a matter of attaching it like stock. Attaching brackets is easy and drilling holes is even easier. It would look like it needs to be made like a hood or trunk with the use of 2 skins so it has all the OEM ridges and mounts
I have a spare sunroof laying here if you wish to tryLeave a comment:
