Carbon fiber parts for your E30

Driving a car with carbon/fiberglass doors on the streets is ridiculous to say the least.

As much as having carbon as only the outermost layer is halfassed, not using a single layer of fiberglass on the mating surfaces is too.

Who the hell would get door dings (by the usual definition) on those panels unless they're retarded and drive the car with those to get groceries?? I'd rather fix a scrape or crack in those than a dent in a metal door anyway, but really.

Exactly, full CF or bust. The only CF parts that should have FG cores are parts for driftcars.

we're talking about door panels and radiator shrouds here, not fenders or valances. A door panel or radiator shroud doesn't need to be strong, you're usng carbon fiber here because it's lightweight and looks pretty. that's why I suggested using fiberglass to keep the cost down.
