Carbon fiber parts for your E30

don't see why I cant make it functional, its all a matter of attaching it like stock. Attaching brackets is easy and drilling holes is even easier. It would look like it needs to be made like a hood or trunk with the use of 2 skins so it has all the OEM ridges and mounts -
Is it functional though, or is it one that is supposed to be permanently sealed in? There's plenty of delete plates, but few that are actually functional sunroofs. It has to be able to mount and fit like OEM.Leave a comment:

I'll likely giving it a try on a friends rally beater E30^ should only weigh like 1/4 or less of what the original one weighs .Leave a comment:

ok so here's the deal for the radiator covers. I made one yesterday and it fits perfect and only weighs a couple ounces. its 100% carbon fiber and made with epoxy resin and 2 layers of CF. it will come pre-drilled with nice edges.
It will be available in a few different options
Option 1-$55 shipped
glossy but raw finish-looks cool still but you can physically feel weave
Option 2-$65 shipped
Wetsanded and and has one more layer of epoxy resin than the raw finish.feels smooth and slick and has the cool "DEEP" look you are used to with carbon fiber
also hardware is available for an additional $10 to each total.
hardware includes 2 washers-4 nuts and 2 bolts.
will upload pics of what the hardware is like.
these will only be available for about 1 month before I'm going to get sick of making them.
You can always add some clearcoat to the finish if you want it to look even glossier and deeper.Leave a comment:
