If you are even just 6 foot it can be a little tight to get inside. A coupe gives big sedan feel for yourself.Comment

I have both and other than rolling down the back windows in the 4 door I don't even think about it when I'm driving. I'd give the edge to the 2 door just because I like sport seats betterWhat it feels like owning an e30:

You shut your mouth, I had a beautiful bronzit e28. It was a sight of pure beauty....
Was actually a wonderful color, shoots scrappy but looks great in the twilight hours. Is it silver or gold????/ who knows.Comment

I went from having all coupes to having two 4 doors and one coupe. I prefer four door e30's.sigpicComment

move your seat forward and stop the gansta pose :p
I'm 6'2" and I put my elbow on the windowsill all the time. I wouldn't put my arm out though as I don't want to lose it if somebody hits my car. ;)
anyway, I like both, but long term I think the 4-door wins (E30s are all sedans blah blah blah). All I'm saying is I now have 2 kids, and if I had started with a 2 door I would have been forced to sell it for a car that I can get 2 carseats in and out of easily. I'd probably be driving a minivan or a camry, which would mean I'd be forced to turn in my man card or have at least 1 of my balls chopped off (her choice).
also it's great for track/autox as I can toss a lot of stuff in the backseat very easily. I can't get race tires in the trunk as they're usually too wide to stack them all on top of each other, then you add tools, a tent, chairs, a jack, and a couple plastic tubs full of shit, having the extra doors makes it easier.
uh, you can put sport seats in a 4 door too. :pComment

Also owned both, but now have a 4 door with vaders :). 4 Door because of the extra space to get things in and out of the back. Just an easier proposition than a coupeJust a little project im working on
