Most of these cars will never leave California...They're fine for going to work every day, but not much more. The roadster looks nice, but only because it's basically a Lotus. I think the other two are pretty damn ugly and have very American features. They're fast..but meh. I'd spend my money on something else.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Hydrogen cars is the way to go and I don't understand manufacturers and the government aren't going in that direction. Electric cars kinda make sense but not enough. The government is putting tax dollars into a technology that the average american doesn't want. That Tesla is expensive and can't drive across country.
H2 is point less and a dead end prospect as a fuel source in automobiles as we know them today
36k BTU per liquid gallon of H2 Vs 126k BTU per gallon of Gas. You do that math on the economy of that. Not to even mention the massive amounts of energy needed to rip water apart to get it compress it and keep it cold enough to stay in liquid form. Much much more than input energy than conventional petrol fuels.
What about the massive amount of money required to suck oil out from under miles of rock? As soon as money and research starts flowing into an area of technology, it gets cheaper for consumers. Hydrogen is the best replacement for petrol in cars.
Besides, anyone can make hydrogen in their basement. It can be easily produced and stored on-site, at gas stations perhaps. It's just up to research and technology to increase the efficiency of electrolysis and develop a way to produce hydrogen in large quantities. I think in the long term it's a much better solution than sticking retarded expensive/dirty batteries in a car and calling it a day.
^This. And of course its not better than petrol, nothing is, but certainly our best alternative fuel. On side note tho, I would like like a fisker karma.
