    You could drive your petrol car for a whole lifetime and it would'nt even come close to the environmental damage caused by the production of those batteries.
    Maybe we should stick to E30's, here, 'cause we're obviously out of our depth...

        I think we would run out of power.

        I would guess the demographic of r3v to be mainly engineers and mechanics. Maybe a few others.

              I'd rather have an electric E30 for $100k or whatever the tesla costs. Electric e30 would be way way cooler than a tesla.

                There is a converted one here in Pacific northwest, its complete shit, gets only 19mi to a charge and weighs a ton more.

                  Yea but what I was saying was that with the budget for a tesla you could afford to do one real good and proper. I'm guessing that was a low budget build? Better components are much more expensive.
