Otherwise it looks like a nice car. Even at 2k I would be hesitant to buy it.

It didn't pull to either side.Wheel was straight. The seller told me that They Bought a Coupe and had the front from it,installed on this car. while the rear is the original sedan.

Overall its very good with no almost no rust, The trunk lid has rust. I need to take a better look to see how many panels have been swaped. The fenders did have the White spray over the Vins. Id like to get it on the Lift.

Oh ya I forgot the Blower motor is making noises on the lower speeds.

Mine's a salvage, but it was a minor hit in the rear corner, and nothing structural was damaged. It was worth so little when it was hit that just about anything would have totaled it. I'd be a lot more cautious with a bent/replaced core support. It may still be worth looking at, but with rust, and a somewhat shady/shoddy sounding repair, I think I'd personally stray away. Definitely over priced, either way.

definitely check to make sure that the repairs were done properly (alignment readout compared to specs would go a long way with that). the shock tower does look a bit sketch, but there again, if its 2 cars made into one, problems could ensue.

Also important is if all the IX specific stuff works, such as the couplings. the body can be fairly easily swapped with a clean shell, but if the drive train is FUBAR, then you are up shit creek.

all told, overpriced by about 100% (2 grand car at the most)
I saved 15% on my Bimmer parts by switching to ...

I already got a printout from a local alignment shop,i even called to confirm the car had been there. She showed me a Paper that the Transfer case had been rebuilt 4 years ago.

In my area non salvage IX's sell for around her asking price. I guess location play a huge roll in cost. Haggle haggle and haggle more, she'll come down.

honestly it sounds like a $2000 car, *maybe*.

swapped panels, rust (even minor), salvage title. I'm sure it's functionally fine, but you should be able to find a clean non-salvage ix for $4k.
