Bought the car for $1500! I can't believe how little rust it has. LIKE NONE. Amazing for an E30 that has been in NE since 2004. Paint is JUNK. I'm picking it up tonight, I'll post pics over the weekend.

But I did negotiate. Got it for $1,500! Guy had multiple people trying buy this thing. Stand up dude, gave me first looks since I called him first.

I saw this e30 for sale on CL, looks like mine with less rust same paint def good deal though! Good luck with it I'd jump all over this if I hadn't already pick mine up!

If you do end up painting it, do it right and invest in a good and proper respray in the original Calypso. You won't be sorry.

Calypso is the only color i would paint it. I don't see many in this color. Paint is last on my to do list though. lots of little odds and ends to straighten out on this bad boy. It was owned by a college kid for the last 2 years who did enough to keep it running and get it to pass inspection. She's going to be a labor of love!

Calypso and Mauritius are the absolute best e30 colors, imo. (and I thought that long before I got my mauritius vert). Nice buy :)

Nice! I looked at a Calypso convertible in Oakland, CA but it needed too much work and was automatic. Calypso is a great color!
