They're exactly same length and almost the same height, with the same layout.

What? I'm pretty sure what you said, isn't even close to what the OP asked for.

But if one was to be redesigned, it probably would look like a fat guy trying to hold in a fart. Think bloated and misshaped.

The spirit of my post was along the lines of what have you sat down and idly doodled or concepts you have seen around.

I like the 1 series. I feel the 1m is how the normal car sm should look though. To me it seems more like a slightly upgraded and newer e46 than anything.

Thread wasn't meant as a hate fest. It was meant to be more of a how would you change it' kind of thread.

For instance
- slightly more flared fenders,
-a slight change to the backend b/c the rear window always looked awkward to me
