yes. all done and dusted on my side. :D
has been delivered to air cargo. then have probably now palitised it.
im going to send all the reciepts to ken through the post. i was thinking of putting them on the pallet but customs might see the values of everything, which may lead to problems,
ken now has to sit tight for the invoice.
no more questions about another europallet untill this one is stateside. once it is then will can go ahead with another one if there is enough interest.
thanks people. :)Comment

I've received a few PMs regarding the status of the pallet, so I thought I'd update everyone.
I haven't received the invoice from the shipping company yet, which gives details of the shipment and expected arrival date.
I emailed Jon regarding it and he said that he's going to look into why I haven't received it yet.
He's also sending me receipts for all of your guys' purchases. He's sending them separately because the declared value of the pallet is MUCH less than what we actually paid for the items (which should help it move through customs faster).
As soon as I hear anything from Jon, or receive the invoice. I'll update everyone asap.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

UPDATE!!!
The FedEx man stopped by this morning with an express package from London.
I got the invoices from Air Cargo Express.
By the looks of them it seems like they'll email me when the pallet arrives in Portland. The invoice is dated 4/16 so hopefully they actually shipped out then.
Here are the scanned documents:

More updates:
I just received via email, the arrival notice.
It's supposed to get into LA on the 4th of May, and they'll let us know when it is supposed to get to Portland (I'm assuming a day or two after that). I'm really hoping we'll be able to get it on the 6th or 7th because those are the only times that I can pick it up (Thrusday's and Friday's) and I don't want to have to pay extra fees for them to store the pallet(s). While we're on the subject of fees, we owe the shipping company (or one of their subsidiaries $150 in handling and paperwork fees). I'm not exactly sure what the fees are, I emailed them to find out.
Now comes the question of how to divide up the fee between us. How should we do it? Just divide the $150 by 9? Or should we split it up depending on how many items each of us shipped over?
We're also going to need a customs broker to handle the pallet through customs. I'm not sure how much one of those costs or how much customs duties will be (if anything) yet.
I'll let everyone know when I receive answers from my email on Monday, hopefully. But I need input from you guys regarding the fee on the invoice I just received.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

dividing it evenly between 9 people doesn't seem like the route to go for those of us that bought things as small as grilles. That would be a $16 charge on a $30 item.

You're right. That was my hesitation to do something like that. It doesn't seem fair that you'd pay the same fee for getting a $30 part that James would for getting $1k+ in parts. I figure the guys with the grilles will owe a little less than ten bucks. I'll figure the whole thing out in a few days.Originally posted by brodeedividing it evenly between 9 people doesn't seem like the route to go for those of us that bought things as small as grilles. Thank you everyone (except for Craig Cheadle - who I am unable to contact) for paying so quickly. I purchased the $150.82 money order today and I will be sending it out in the mail on Monday.
On Monday I will also be making some calls to try and find a customs broker for our pallet, I'll let everyone know what happens with that.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment
