I got one small crack near the passenger side on the top, maybe an inch long. Still on the hunt for an uncracked to toss in the basement.

Here is a little secret for all R3v members to keep your dash free from cracks...sunscreen lotion and sun visor. I have been using sunscreen lotion for years on my car (works wonder for leather seats too). Don't laugh...if it works for your skin it will work for your leather seats too.

Mine's got a crack going down the middle of the gauge cluster hump, and a tiny one in the tray.

Mines not really a crack its a "tension" mark, it looks like the thing in anime shows when a character gets mad the make on their forehead. You know what I'm talking about, its smaller then a dime.

Cracked filled with RTV. It looks better than gaping cracks atleast. It's very low on my list of priorities to change it out.

here in Germany a cracked dash is an odd thing. of the 30 or so E30s I've owned over the years, I can only recall of 2 ever having cracked dashes, and 1 of them was U.S. spec.

Swapped my cracked one out for a non-cracked one. Definitely adds a cleaner look to the car and isn't terribly hard to do.

I have a dash swap in progress right now. I'm even swapping the VIN tags because I am OCD.

I did this on my dash swap. Be careful not to break the plastic dowels. I ended up cutting everything out of my old dash to ensure not breaking everything.
