I have two, very small cracks at the corner of the tray.

I am torn between replacing it, dash mat, or letting it be. All my friends think the car is too clean to not have a dash with no cracks

I did this on my dash swap. Be careful not to break the plastic dowels. I ended up cutting everything out of my old dash to ensure not breaking everything.

why is the other one wider?

On all 4 E30's that I have had.
