I am a firm believe that everyone who,"thinks" they can drive well should hit up at least one track day event (AutoX or Circuit)

Only makes you a better driver in the end.

Plus you can see in real life under real world conditions what all those fancy things such as rebound / compression / caster / toe all do

its been said 1000 times, everyone is different.

me, i want a car that is basically impossible for anyone besides me to drive. stage 3 pressure plate with unsprung clutch, huge sway bars, track spec stiff coils. reatarded bushings. insane torque. only i will have the skill to even get my car going from a stop....

      that is the dream.

P.S. i have autox dream. i might go once if ever get my car to where i hope it to be. maybe once.

I'd love to take the Firehawk to an auto-x. Suspension is what it is when it left SLP. I did put wider tires, 4.10 gears, and a 383 in it.

Honest question--why this when GC/Koni is only $200 more?

I sorta do this too in a way. I like everything I own to be pretty personalized, to a point that most other people find it annoying as hell to use.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Vivek is an e30 protege, how dare you question his suggestions.

OP I spend moneyz on suspension because if it ain't broke, I still fix it. What else am I going to spend it on?

Oops. But my question still applies to people who spend $850+ on H&R Race/Bilstein Sports in the states.

You interested in attending Willow Springs? More than likely in November.

In a well-setup car this shit is seriously fun.

Adjustable coilovers are illegal in Aus unless you can put a permanent locking system in so you can't go below 100mm clearance. Then you need to get it checked and approved, alot eaiser to just get HR race and billies, and not put up with the hassels.
