I've thought about putting something like this in the map pocket on the door but depending on how you position your legs, it could be in the way. Wal-mart sells one with a thicker bottom wedge that looks almost like it'd fit without being too loose.

The mounts next to the ebrake seem the best to me. However i would like to see one made where the rear ashtray/coin tray.
It is within reach and doesn't interfere with driver or passenger space...

I use one of those el cheapo WalMart ones hooked under the right side of the shift boot, across the right side of the shift console and hanging to the passenger side of it. Sits just in front of the passenger seat. No pic right now because my interior is currently strewn about my garage. Maybe I can get one this weekend if I get it reassembled.Comment

Blocks my knuckles and takes away a place for my phone and iPod touch.
Yup, I sat in an e30 with one installed. And that custom one above looks clean but again is in the way.
I completely understand that, but since I cannot afford a race car and another daily...for now. I thought it would be neat to fab up something that bolts in. I bolt it in for DD status and unbolt for SCCA.~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~

I think that one is just a port tube pressed into the center console after drilling a hole with a hole saw.Comment
