:ot: Lol i think we got off-topic here. Just wanted to know how the M30 fairs in the E30. Just lookin for a little motivation because waiting for 3 months till the weather gets nice is KILLING me right now, that's all.

Lol i would love to , but today, it was a high of 5 degrees. If my hands didn't fall off because it was so cold, i would definitely do it. I've worked in the rain, and pitch black dark (with the aid of a cell phone as light). We're talkin upstate, NY in december.... not fun.

Let me know how it goes. Take some pics and write down what you did, and what parts you were using....maybe you can do a website so other people can learn from what you've done right/wrong (me perhaps).

I had my mind set on doing a S38 for a while. BUT after researching, looking @ prices, etc I have decided against it. I figure the $$ saved can be better used into a S50/2.
Them S38 ARE one sick freakin engine though

The one you have pictured is the M88 which is closer to what was in the ///M1 if not that very engine, which was the precursor and aside from some fuel delivery differences, was basically the S38. Yes, I can be a nazi too. :)
