e30 seen as a girls car?

So I live in a small town or mostly rednecks and not a bimmer dealer for at least an hour. and a guy i work with insists my car is a girls car. Pokes fun at me constantly, says a little blonde should be getting out not a 250 lb mexican. Does anyone else catch flak for this??

My 14yr old can't wait to drive one. She says she wants hers "low and loud" haha.

One of her girlfriends at school told her that she was getting a "really old car" when she gets her license - my daughter says "Me too! What are you getting?" her friend replies "A 2005 Honda", my daughter says "That's not old, I'm getting a 1980's BMW", her friend says "Wow, that's REALLY old!"....

i have a fresh m20 in it now, did a 5 speed swap and has a 4.10 rear. she scoots pretty good the way it is, i think i could get him to think otherwise about the performance but he says it just looks too small

Small is one of the best things about E30's. Small + light = awesome handling.

Anyway, more women drive SUV's/Jeeps than they do E30's.
