I'm not particularly crazy about the styling of the new A3, but that new 2.0L direct-injected turbo is quite a motor. If the lower end shares a lot with the older 1.8L turbo, the aftermarket tuners are going to have fun with this engine. In the case of the 1.8, the block, crank and rods are so over-engineered that ~50% more power can be extracted from tweaking while still using stock internals.
