Werd. ///M parts are ok just as long as you aren't rocking an ///M badge on a non-///M car.

I think it´s cool to have ///M parts in the car, except the ///M badge on the rear or front if the car isn´t a M.

In my Baur i only have 2 parts that have the M badge.

      and

      the steering wheel.

real M owners, leave the front and rear badges for the non M cars!! no need for those badges on my ride, I really dont care what others think it is. rock what makes you happy! hell, alot of non M cars have or had M parts as options.
james, is the M3 ABS computer different? I will sell mine if anyone wants to pay for it- i have that anoying crap disconnected anyway.
the germans here love those badges on everything except M cars!

As far as I know BMW put ///m badges on ANY car in Germany that had ANY ///m part on it... be it a steering wheel or mtech kit. It didn't matter what it had on it as long as it was an ///m piece. It could go adversely also and a car with ///m pieces didn't have an ///m emblem. The real m3 emblem is different any way... now THAT would be stupid to have on a non m3. Like rockin a 325iS emblem on a 318i... just don't make sense. I don't rock the emblems cause they are gawdy.

You can put on any ///m part on your car except the badges. As far as I'm concerned, the only time you can put an ///m emblem on your non-///m is when you've done an ///m powered swap and ///m or better suspension upgrades. Then it's OK.

Dude put M badges wherever you want, who cares if we like it? I'm sure if you're thinking this hard about it you'll stay within the realm of good taste.

                            I agree with above...

yeah man, its your car, you paid for it... rock out with your M-blems out...

bottom line, it's only poor taste in someone else's mouth... if you dig it that's good enough for you. as for what we think? as$h*les are like opinions... online car forums can't exist without them.

anyway, together we'll find a way to keep ebay afloat... pass the carbon fiber roundels!

///M Technik shit is different than ///Motorsport shit. ///M technik is just a part developed by ///M and sometimes put by the factory on non ///M-engined cars. ///Motorsport shit is parts that are usually exclusively on just ///M3/5/6 etc. :)
