The 318is would get walked by a Honda Civic with V-tech anywhere. On the track day, granted my skills are none, there was a 1.6L CRX that was walking me.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

You shouldnt be driving an E30 M3 if you cant afford the engine. Same thing with the s38, dont drive the m5 if you cant afford the engine.

            I bombed Korea every night.

a crx is TOTALLY s diff story than a civic. although a crx is a civic a civic is not always a rex...CRX's weigh like 35pounds w/out a driver and the handle pretty good....but only experienced drivers in a crx are going to be faster than a 318is ;)

did any of you see that article quite a few years back in european car of the guy with the yellow civic???? he wanted an M3 but had a civic and the car had M stripes all over it along with m badges----and they did a layout of that car!
so what I am basically saying is different strokes for different folks- do what makes you happy.

my favorite german badge on the rear of E30s around here says--ALLGAU- I think that is a place, but tons of shitbox E30s have that emblem-- maybe its part of ///N division.

sorry dont have a 318. However your partially correct, I do believe a 318 would walk all over a civic through the corners, but in a straight line it would be a very slow, very close race... Didnt mean to offend, I just hate when people put m3 or m5 badges on a car thats not an M and doesnt have the performance capabilities to match. Just like I hate v6 camaros that have SS stickers etc.
