Same here and it's not a button that anybody will use always like the windows button so that fade out quickly.

Well they also have a child safety button that shuts off the power to the rear window switches. but the breaker stops all power, so cinda different things there.
i have that small child safety button wired up in my vert to turn the power on and off to the antenna. that way i can listen to my phone through the radio without the whistling from the antenna being up.sigpic

Now that this is brought here, I wonder, what was/is the porpouse of that little "vent-grill" next to the temperature knob? I always wondered if there was a sensor behind it (when I was a kid) but never figured out for what was it.
