Time Capsule E30 Convertible - Only 227 Miles!

In case nobody has seen it yet, there is a 1993 325i convertible with only 227 miles on eBay...

    Anyone here have $45,000???

    This thing is immaculate!

    No blue cloth...

I realize there are probably about 10 threads about this being made at the moment...

I just don't believe it. The carfax looks legit, although that gap from 1995 to 2001 makes me wonder. I would need more info to convince me.

What bothers me is this line...

This gorgeous 325i convertible is in mint condition impeccably restored with all original or BMW genuine parts.
I'm guessing the seller just used the word restored when in actuality they just replaced belts and hoses etc because I don't know why a virtually brand new car would need to be restored.

I believe that some sort of "E30 tool gnome" has taken it along with the blue cloth

I don't think that tool came on late models. pretty sure it doesn't work on the late regulators.

why have a car like that and never drive it? Not like its a Ferrari 250 GTO or 427 Cobra?!

that tool only came in e28's but the kit box itself is for both models.

You can always buy less than 100k well-conditioned E30 vert for about 5k...saving yourself 40k...more than enough to buy a BMW 128.
