Senna wrecked both his car and Prost's intentionally to secure the championship. That's ruthless, not ignoring waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles team orders. -
Vettel's far from clean, multi 21 anybody? Or the occasional teammate contact crash scenario. Granted Senna was no better as mentioned but you don't get to that level without being a bit shady from time to time.
That being said who takes first loser spot this year? Alonso and Ferrari, Kimi and Lotus or Hamilton with Mercedes.Leave a comment:

Yeah, people seem to forget how big of a dick Senna was on track and how dirty he drove. Say what you will about Vettel, but he drives clean.Leave a comment:

This. Because when you're on top, especially for a long as Vettel has been, everyone below you (and their fans) are going to find every reason to bitch.
Schumi used to get ALL the same shit, exact same shit, so did Senna. Comes with the territory.Leave a comment:

Let's start by saying 'I am not a Vettel fan, I'm more of a Vettel unfan' but it was nice to see him genuenly excited about his 4th title.
I remember all the ill will towards Schumacher in his hay day for much the same reason, and my father always told me to enjoy it because you do not see someone with this much talent very often (of course not knowing Vettel would come about).
That said, congrats to Vettel for a hard fought season.Leave a comment:

I wonder how much bickering the other drivers are doing all race on the radios. It'd be awesome if you could have a live feed to a team radio without the TV people picking and choosing what to air.
I'm really enjoying Hulkenburg's surge, I hope he gets a seat at Lotus.Leave a comment:

I'm not sure that Toes' point is he is a monumental whinger (as Hamilton was for the last few seasons), but that he has increasingly complained throughout this season about fickle 'problems'. You cannot argue that Vettel has been more vocal this season (or at least the media is spinning it that way by broadcasting more of Vettel's radio comms) while Hamilton has been more tame than his last campaigns.Fascinating, you found a video clip of Vettel getting whiny and upset. I could find 25 of Hamilton doing the same in the time it takes for that video to finish playing. JUST during races. If we expand the search to ALL instances of Hamilton bitching and blaming something/someone after races and in press conferences, I'd need several minutes, at least.
Just my thoughts.Leave a comment:

Interesting how Vettel has been getting less and less TV coverage because he just drives off and leaves the pack, and the cameras are always focused on the cars in the battle for 2nd. Wonder how long it'll take before sponsors start getting agitated? I know it's counter-intuitive, but the non-racing sponsors get nothing from winnings, they're in it for the TV exposure.Leave a comment:

I'll be honest, I've skipped about the half the races and 2-3 quali's.
Malaysia, Webber doesn't seem to have traction control, etc.....I hate to say it, but I'm going to pulling for Hamilton/Rosberg next year and probably watching more Sports Car racing.Leave a comment:

I agree 100%. I'm becoming less of a Vettel fan, for pretty much the same reason I stopped following the WRC. Sebastian (must be the name) Loeb was winning EVERY FUCKING STAGE, and there wasn't really much else to watch. That isn't to say I'm not following F1 anymore, far from it. But I'm finding myself watching the races to watch the rest of the pack. I can't WAIT to see what Ferrari does next year, but I'm also really anxious to see what Ricciardo and Vettel can pull off next year.Yeh, read that article last week. Interesting. So much black art and engineering in Formula1. Obviously not traction control, but something trick going on nonetheless.
I still think Sebastian is underrated and not just the jockey in the fastest car. He's smooth, consistent, great race pace fast, and actually has a personality(whether you like it or not). Unlike that cry ass Lewis who when he's not taking selfies of himself in the paddock, he's blaming his car, his tires, his visor, his lack of traction and his teams lack of solutions for him to get around a Sauber. I'm not that big of a fan of his anymore.
Alonso and Kimi on the other hand. Love them. Can't wait for next season. And if Alonso, or his car, didn't let him down so much on Saturday, he could have a chance against Seb on Sundays. I do, however, love watching Alonso's aggressive starts.
Oh yeah, and bollocks to Lewis Hamilton. The most crybaby diva of a little weenie that ever entered the sport.Leave a comment:

damn what does that even mean in terms of odds I wonder?
It would be cool if they had a guess the grid and you get money based on how close your grid and podium predictions are.Leave a comment:
