Anyone catch Vettel during the post race interview at the podium? Where he mentioned the door closing action from Raikkonen during the final laps and that Raikkonen just laughed about it when he addressed it. Priceless. -
Just watched the NBC feed. Race was blah I thought. Wanted more action at the endLeave a comment:

I really think Kimi is staying at Lotus. He has a good thing going and the car is getting quicker and quicker. It's race pace is amazing and seems to be the fastest car out there so long as its hotter out.
The only real allure to Red Bull would be their qualifying speed and their development money. The major downside is being car #2 at RBR.Leave a comment:

Mostly read the espn F1 section myself, So it's down to Kimi and Riccardo for Webbers seat. Thoughts?
Also thoughts on GP this weekend?Leave a comment:

Autosport and Crash.net are decent.
scarbsF1 is fantastic.
ESPN has a pretty good F1 section too on their web site.Leave a comment:

So where do you guys go for your F1/racing specific news? I need something better to do in my down time at work besides troll r3v.Leave a comment:

Team orders. No more "get both cars out in front then Mark, you follow Seb around at a leisurely pace for the duration." They'd both be duking it out the entire time.Leave a comment:

I'm still not sure why it would take any more effort to field Seb and Kimi than it does Seb and Mark. Sure, they'd have to make TWO trick front wings for Silverstone, but in the grand scheme of things is it really that different? Maybe I'm missing somethingLeave a comment:

It keeps seeming more and more realistic that Kimi could end up on RBR. I don't like that idea for anyone, unless they can field two #1 drivers. It's been proven that neither one would care about team orders when it comes to winning, though.Leave a comment:

How hard would it be for pirelli to choose compounds to favor a certain chassis?Leave a comment:

Hopefully if he can do well, I would like to see him take the driver's championship but not likely given how well Vettel is doing. He will definitely finish top three ahead of Hamilton and perhaps Alonso. But if he were that would definitely entice more investor money to Lotus giving them a better budget for next year.Leave a comment:

Exactly. I don't mind Massa but he's been fucking up lately. I think if Lotus can continue to improve the cars and the team then Kimi should stay put, seems like a good fit for him, he just needs a bit more competitive equipment.Leave a comment:

Why not? It looks like Massa could slip out if he were to show interest. Then again it'd be the same thing as Vettel with Alonso instead.Redbull wouldn't make sense for kimi..... vettel would have control of car development which kimi now has at lotus.... I would rather see him back in corsa red...... which won't happen. Lotus is a good fit as well since they don't do a shit ton of p.r. stuff which apperntly he hates. I think perez would have been a good fit for redbull if they would have signed him last year.Leave a comment:

Kimi was in the same boat this week as Weber was last week. Give him another couple of laps, and he probably would have eaten Seb up.
But I'm SO PUMPED for Seb to finally win his home GP! That really was a good race, but I bet that poor camera man is going to be sore as fuck tomorrow...
More than sore, broken collarbone and a few ribs.Leave a comment:
