I don't necessarily think Massa's at fault for that there are reports of rear suspension problems that probably didn't help matters.

Good race my DVR screwed me sideways as well I missed the last 20 laps. Congrats to rosberg but I find it so conveinent that he managed to win monaco excactly 30 years after his father did...Yes I am wearing my tin foil hat as well. Also impressed by Sutil making some nice passes in the hairpain over button and alonso. Really bummed about Raikkonen being hit by grosjean forcing him out of good point contention.

Looks to me like he just came down that stretch a little too hot, braked a little too late, and that was the end of it. He hit that second wall f-ing HARD, I was actually a little surprised to see him in just a neck brace.

My DVR didn't record past the red flag, I know Rosberg took it (good for him), I saw that Chilton was given a drive-through for the incident with Maldonado, that was a pretty brutal hit, too. Monaco always delivers, tho. Great race.

I watched this race on a Russian stream while in a hotel room in Meabashi Japan.

That said, good race. Too bad for Massa, not sure what that was about. Alonso had terrible pace. Surprised Perez was not handed a grid penalty. Too many failed passes on Alonso and Kimi. Those guys (RoGro included) never seem to learn.

Contacts to Nico. 3rd times a charm. I don't think he can fight for the championship

    Edited due to autocorrect... sorry

Just in time for the partying that took place during the past weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix, French electronic music sensation Daft Punk was named as the latest partner of the Lotus F1 Team. Coincidentally, Daft Punk is in the process of promoting its new album Random Access Memories, and as part of the effort signed a...

+1 I've always liked the monaco GP over others. I wish I had access to watch F1 when they still ran the ring.

Hey, Grosjean crashed in practice! WHO IN THE FRACK SAW THAT COMING. I can't imagine being that crane operator. Talk about end-of-your-life if something falls off that crane. God forbid you lose a tire off the race car and take out a $25k patio table set LOLOLOL.

God, I love Monaco... Best race of the season.

Mercedes was fastest in practice again...Not surprising since that seems to be their thing for now but I wonder how their tire degredation will be come race day.

^Keep in mind Ferrari isn't going to criticize a fellow Italian Co. (even though the heat belongs to the fia and Bernie)

I am against compound/constuction change in mid season for all the reasons Eric Boulier laid out. I just wish the fia had asked for normal more predictable tires to begin with. The fia was on cloud nine with the start to last year with teams taking a while to learn about the tires. Pirelli changed compounds again(and more aggressively) hoping to replicate the randomness to the start of the season last year but went a tad to far. Also the top teams knew more accurately what to expect which is why its the usual suspects are at the top with the exception of McLaren.

I would love 2 tire manufacturers but it wont happen. It would run opposite of what the fia wants which is tires with high deg. If it were up to pirelli they could make tires that would perform and run consistently for the duration of a race. I for one would like to see the worlds most skilled/conditioned drivers pushing hard for an entire race instead of driving to a set lap time like we have now.

For once I agree 100% with red bulls dieter m
If they did that, there wouldn't be much point in watching the race.

Just watch Quali, read the news on Monday to see if anything happened. Go read Ferrari's Horse Whisperer article. Everyone is freaking out over one race.

Honda coming back to McLaren next season, interesting indeed but not surprising since it's v6's we're talking about and Honda has had a bit of practice with that over in Indy car already.

side note some nice photo's linked here

McLaren and Honda announced today that they will join forces in F1 again from 2015; here we celebrate their partnership from 1988-1992
