I don't prefer it. Either V8+ or turbo 4. Then again, I've never been a fan of most v6 engines for pretty much no reason.

Finnish newspaper is saying Kimi to ferrari is a done deal, and RBR will buy out alonso's contract.... wouldnt that be interesting if true.

I'm not sure how I feel about Kimi going to Ferrari... I can't be a Ferrari fan. They're basically the same people as Longhorn fans.

Unless Riccardio goes to Lotus... Hmmmm...

I can't be a Ferrari fan, either and Alonso at RBR with Seb? Fucking please it will never ever happen. Alonsos desire to be #1 on the team will trump his wanting to win another championship at all costs, and I honestly believe the he and Seb are very equal, given equal equipment and support.

And if this unholy union does happen, to those who will say Seb will get better treatment, equipment, etc.: Do you really think they would pay what would be needed to buy Alonso out of his Ferrari contract and then not guarantee they finish 1-2 in the drivers and #1 in the constructors?

If horner cant control his team now can you imagine Alonso/Vettel pairing. Even ron dennis couldn't keep Alonso in check and gave up on him. Horner mine as well watch the race from his hotel room. However, rbr would have the most intelligent pairing on the grid, which could work well if they worked together.

I cant root for Ferrari either even though I love their road cars and philosophy of selling cars to finance racing. I find myself in awe of schumi when watching old f1 races even though I despised him back in the day,,,,, somehow I don't think I will feel the same way about vettel 15yrs from now,, he just doesn't put in the epic drives schumi did so often,,, some of which may be down to the shitty nature of the current f1 regs and awful tires.

              Not. Gonna. Happen.

Why would Kimi go to a less competitive car at the team where he was bought out so they could have Alonso?

Alonso and Vettel equal? No, look at what Alonso is doing with the Ferrari vs Massa. Remember Massa was one turn away from being the 2008 World Champion....it's not like he can't drive.

Ricardo to RBR, Kimi stays at Lotus, and I don't know who fills #2 at Ferrari. Bianchi if he had more experience. Hulkenberg or Di Resta possibly.

Maybe? It's certainly not a resounding "hell no." They did just get some more capital, and they've been showing strong lately, hell, even Grosjean had some good runs recently. They're not out of the woods, but I don't think they're fucked. Methinks Kimi's got a good thing going.

If the finish higher in the WCC than in years past, that will also be a big boost to the bottomline.

If Kimi doesn't go to redbull he'll be staying at Lotus, it makes no sense to move to Ferrari now. It'll be interesting to see where Massa ends up, long shot he takes the seat at Red Bull

I see Massa out of F1. I don't know if he has big sponsorship to shore up a seat at a lesser team, but then again, why would he want to go Caterham from Ferrari?

I'm not going to argue over Seb vs Alonso but I do want to say that I saw a very interesting infographic somewhere online comparing Massa's pre and post injury performance. Maybe it's coincidence and yes, data can be manipulated to show anything but it seems he just hasn't been with it since. There have been a few exceptions where he did really well, or got very lucky. If he gets dropped from Ferrari I'd be more surprised to see him go to a smaller team than if he were to persue another series.
